Project Life: Have You Started?

Posted by on Apr 19, 2013

Project Life

Many years ago I loved to scrapbook. I had scissors and stickers and paper and tons of other stuff. I would pull it all out and put my pictures on a page and spend hours making them cute. Then I had a kid. I still liked to scrapbook, but I spent MUCH less time doing it. Because, let’s face it, who has hours to devote to cute embellishments with a child running around? I managed to make a cute mini scrapbook for my oldest son’s first year of life and was very proud of it.

And then I had another kid. And that was it. Just the thought of pulling out my scrapbook stuff gave me anxiety. So the pictures stayed in a box or on my computer. And there has been zero scrapbooking done since. Until now! I recently discovered Project Life by Becky Higgins (because Becky practically forced me to check it out). It’s simplicity immediately piqued my interest. I can literally spend 15 minutes and get one or two pages done. I don’t need all the “extras”, but I can include them if I want to spend a little more time. Best of all, Project Life makes me feel like I can get my kids lives in books for them. So they will remember family vacations, funny faces, and school performances for years to come. And I can not feel so overwhelmed.

So what is Project Life?

Project Life is a solution-based approach to scrapbooking that was created to simplify the process in order to allow you more time to enjoy life! It requires no glue, no scissors, no tools, and no skills of any kind. The design of our products takes the guess work out of layout design so that you can focus on recording your everyday moments through your photos and journaling. The simple design is stylish and makes it possible for you to complete more pages in less time.

I am honestly so excited to get going with this and to get our family memories in books to share and be remembered.  I would love to hear if you already do Project Life or something similar and what your thoughts are.

I am in no way affiliated with Project Life in any way. These opinions 100% my own. I am honestly just excited about this and wanted to share the info with all of you.
